Tomoka had the privilege of feeding 1,443 families during the month of May, through its Food Pantries in Ormond and Palm Bay, and an outreach helping families in West Volusia County.

“The Church has moral responsibility, and this is one of the highest callings,” said Lead Pastor Joe Putting. “When you read Jesus’ words in Matthew 25, he said, ‘If you see a man hungry, you feed him.’ We’re working in Ormond, Palm Bay, DeLand, DeLeon Springs and Ft. Lauderdale. We’re also doing the same thing in approximately 20 countries, and that’s probably going to expand.”

Pastor Joe also mentioned that Tomoka distributed 8,000 pounds of beans and rice between Ft. Lauderdale, Pierson and DeLeon Springs.

Thank you to everyone who continues to donate food to all these different outreaches. You are helping Tomoka do God’s work all over our communities, the state and the world.
