Niños de Mexico, a ministry Tomoka closely works with, celebrated multiple victories throughout 2019. Their main focus is bringing in orphaned children living on the streets in Mexico City, and giving them the opportunity to grow up in a safe, Christian environment.
Last year, they celebrated 77 baptisms throughout their homes and churches, cared for 120 children and impacted local and indigenous communities throughout the Mexico City area. They are also looking forward to watching one of their adult children graduate from college in the near future!
“The fact that they are caring for kids in Mexico City, taking them off the streets, taking them out of dangerous situations…it’s incredible to get to work with a ministry like that,” said Tomoka’s Missions Director Connie Davis. “I’m always blown away by the Tomoka family. I can’t get over their generosity, the way they give and the way they care for so many others around the world.”
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, children living in Niños de Mexico’s homes have been continually praying for all of us at Tomoka. We would like to ask all of you to continue praying for them as well.
