The Colombia mission team shared God’s love throughout multiple areas of the country in early October.
During their trip, the team visited an all-boys foster home in La Vega, where they ministered to 34 children. They presented the gospel through daily Bible devotions and activities, had a night of fellowship and even held birthday parties for each of the children. They also helped tear off a roof at the foster home that was in desperate need of repair, which will help save money on labor.
Once they were finished in La Vega, the team traveled to Colombia’s capital, Bogota. While in Bogota, the team partnered with Pacto de Belén Church to hold an outreach for Venezuelan refugees. They provided the refugees with showers, clothes, haircuts and a hot meal.
“We heard a lot of sad stories but introduced them to the God of Hope,” said Trip Leader Tania Del Valle. “A few have even come back and attended church since then.”
Tomoka is grateful for everyone who helped make a difference on this mission trip. Thank you for all of your hard work and kindness!
